1 Obsession can do the strangest things.

I'm not sure this is true, but my boyfriends mother told me this, and she's not the kind of person to be telling scary stuff like this without actually knowing it's true.So here goes.

Her friend had for a long period of time been reading stuff about the occult. Ghost stories,"facts" about satan, witchcraft(although I KNOW real witches/Wiccans/Pagans are not evil at all), everything she could get hold of. So one evening, she was reading up on these occult books as usual, when her face started tingling. She felt strange, so she went to have a look in the mirror.She was horrified.Somehow her face had become deformed, she was close to being a monster.She ran out of the house, bumping in to her husband in the hallway. He looked shocked. Her voice cracked to, and sounded like something utterly evil. She ran, out of the house and into the woods (I come from Norway, so there are pretty much dark, pine woods everywhere.).After a few hours, she returned and her face was back to normal.
How strange is that?
I don't personally believe in any god, but if there is one, maybe this was his way of warning her.
Or, was this just her mind seriously playing tricks on her.
What about her husband?
Needless to say, she's never read anything remotely occult ever again.
