Its hard being a non-christian and going straight to the bible for answers. I know it is because I still have trouble going to the bible for my questions to be answered.
There is no scientific proof- your right- but there is also a reason why I believe.
Faith.
I believe because I have faith.
I believe everything happens for a reason and it does. Everything is planned by God and it works out for a reason. Something bad will happen but something good will happen from it.
8 months ago my best friend passed away from cancer.
I had God in my life but only because being a Christian was my backround.
I would go to church, sing all the songs but not know the meaning of them.
Now I know the meaning and I can sing and mean what I sing.
Because I am now with God by my choice not by my backround.
I didn’t turn to God because I had no-one else, I had my family and all the friends that I could wish for. But I turned to God because that is what I needed. Everyone needs him.
By my friend passing away it made me wonder about death, and scared me. I turned to God so he could save me.
He has saved me, as I have accepted him.
You can believe, but it doesn’t make you a Christian. Satan believes, he’s not a follower of God.
You have to accept him as your saviour of your life. You have to let him be the leader of your life. And you have to let him take all your worries and problems into his hands and trust he will work them out…and things will happen for a reason.
See my best friend passed away for a reason. So I could be saved. I let God take me and let him use me. He has. To help people like yourself understand about him. And to help people like one of my friend’s Zoe. Her mum has got cancer and I can help her through it by my experience.
You can’t just say you want to be able to believe. Because you are able to. You have to want to believe. And want as in you truly want to.
You can’t have a happy and full life without accepting God. I have to say I am so much happier with God in my life.
But just because you accept him doesn’t mean bad things won’t happen.
Of course they will…to test your faith and one obvious one is. This is earth. Earth has sin. This is not heaven…your not at heaven once you accept him. You are in heaven when it is your time to go. When you have helped other people get saved. Not as soon as you are saved. He wants you to save so many people here on Earth so you can party with them in Heaven. So you have your friends that you have saved with you in Heaven.
