1 A Arabic Sweet ( Mahalabia)

This sweet is very famous in the middle east and its called as Mahalabia...And its very easy to make (Takes about 5 - 10 minutes)

Ingredients:
Milk
Sugar
Starch
Rose Water
Pistachio(if you want for design,or smashed biscuits)
Way of making:

Bring a pot and fill it with one and a half cups of milk and put it on a medium fire.Add 2 or 2 and a half table spoons of sugar
(The amount of sugar depends on how much sweet you want it.)Then take a wide cup where the spoon can fit in,add 2 and a half table spoons of starch,then add a very little amount of water and slowly dissolve the starch(after dissolving it, it will look a little bit lighter than honey) then when the milk is HOT,slowly spill the starch to the milk and as ur adding it,keep on stirring and stirring for about a minute.It will look lighter than honey.
Then take a bowl and spill the mixture in it.Add about 6 drops of rose water and mix it.(Put the pistachio for design).Leave it to cool and then put it in the refridgerator...
After about 1 hour,,, EAT IT AND ENJOY THE GREAT TASTE
