1.The Truth About Thanksgiving

Next week is a holiday-- Thanksgiving. It really is a lovely idea, a chance to think about all the great things that other people have done for you. Celebrating the Pilgrims and Indians feasted after all the crops were harvested-- together. In elementary school we learned how the Pilgrims and Indians became friends and ate together. Either all that was a lie or it was in a sign of friendship when after the feast the Pilgrims scalped all the Indians. I'm sure it wasn't a lie, I mean why would your parents and teachers lie to you?  Oh wait...



2.Pied Piper-- A Wonderful Children's Tale

Also, lets think about a lovely fairy tale called the Pied Piper. A young man is wronged so he kidnaps the town's children and holds them hostage until the king pays up. Now that’s a story we should tell four year old boys and girls.



3.Disney Says "Say NO to drugs"

What about Alice in Wonderland. If that isn't a story about drugs the Eminem is a nice conservative young man. Alice is eating little crackers to get bigger and smaller and sees a bunny hopping around yelling, "I'm Late I'm Late for a very important date" and a cat who often is floating in midair. Alice in Wonderland also features another great character-- a caterpillar with a large bong. Take your kids to see it right away
