CANUK:seeing as how we're the second largest country in the world, we're kinda hard to miss. PLUS if every1 knows where u are, yur smaller than us, the chances of them knowing where we are are even greater than u think.

9. Americans speak many many languages like I speal englis spanish and italian and i learned Italian outside of school.and for all you Candians that dont know alot of people speak french so that doesnt make you special so get over the fact that you think your the only ones that speak french.

CANUK:the point isnt that there is a large majority of our population that speak french, its that it's our second language. U know how u have 2 pick either to learn french or spanish in highschool? English speaking canadians learn to speak French in kindergarten. And vise versa.
PLUS we have two provinces that speak French primarily, so its different than having ppl in yur country speak three languages.
and the u.s. has a lot more ppl, so u can't argue that u know tons of ppl who are trilingual

not true mate, people only go to america for buiesness trips and career opitunities like acting and none of our actors in australia (mel gibson,russell crowe, heath ledger ect)would rather live else where but hollywood is there so... peple go to canada for holidays and relaxing
CANUK: NEWSFLASH that's part of the reason why yur a terrorist target. They could crash ne of those cities, knowing they would kill a lot of ppl. sigh I don't mean ne disrespect. I really dont. What they did to those innocent people was horrific and no one, in this world, blames you for being upset. But honestly, people come to Canada because of the low crime rate and multiculturalism. I can't prove it 2 u, but yur wrong.

Our flag represents freedom and our eagle also represeants freedom and its a strong creature which our country is.Just cause you have a maple on your flag doesnt mean anything and if you think that beavers are better then eagles go back to school beavers are ugly and have buck teeth and polar bears kill people whats cute and cuddely about that?

CANUK: I will. (here we go) 1. no one cares about what yur flag means. We really don't.
2. if u love yur eagle so much, why is it endangered?
3. The maple leaf is important and unique. Each of the points on the leaf represent a province. The two at the bottom are the two territories, and i think the stem is the third, newest territory.
The colours are significant.
The white is for our legendary winters, part of the reason there were so few people in Canada when it was claimed.
THE RED, is to represent the BLOOD spilt by our heroic forefathers during the first and second WORLD WARS. If i can remember correctly, America did not join until thousands were already dead.
No one said the beaver was better than the eagle. The beaver is part of the reason why Canada was claimed in the 1700s. The beaver fur was very hard to come by, as most beavers only live in Canada, so beaver pelts were shipped back to England.
Beavers are on our nickel. Thats it. Geez. The Polar Bear is on our toonie. They don't attck people you twit, there are barely 200 left in the world, IN CANADA.
Americans: people care what our flag means.... people who come here from other countries for freedom. the only reason our BALD eagle is endangered is cause some people are dumb and dont have any patritism. We are trying to save our eagles. we have them in national parkss. we have alot more BALD eagles.
3.We did not choose to be bombed that was an unfortnate and tragic day.
no it wasn't your fault just your goverment and george bush who think they own the world and can invade countries when they feel like, like iraq when they dont even have weapons of mass distruction because they would've used them by now. in the mean time north korea is like 'we have nucular weapons' and george bush is like ' got ant oil'? 'no..' 'then fck off'
CANUK: You are very right. It wasn't your fault. But this has happened to a lot of other countries and because they're not 'important' enough, they go unrecognized.
2.We play soccer, baseball, football, basketball, swimming, volleyball,etc... what do u guys have hockey? now where do the good athletes come from
canada play all those things and compete in every event in the olympics

PLUS Canada invented basketball as well, so there.

1.If you guys get attacked no ones gonna back you up because no one will no who you are except one country and thats America because thats what we are we help people we belive in helping others that are not against us so if you do get bombed rember that we will back you up and thats what makes us a great country.
lol help people by bombing iraq and klling all the people. i thought they were going to rebuild iraq?? good job. the iraqians dont want help so leave them alone. what about them bloody troops killing the canadians in friendly fire. o my god if you cant use your weapons dont use them at all. and conadians have peace keeping guys not invaders.
CANUK: When Canada decided not to support the U.S. in Iraq, that was our decision, which didn't settle well with a lot of Americans including the government. Now, somehow, because one Alberta cow tested posative for Mad-Cow Disease, all our beef imports are banned in your country. Hmm. I dont think Im really exaggerating when this could be interpreted as 'trying to get back at us'.
Canada is known world wide as a peacekeeping country and for its wonderful people and land. I am NOT exaggerating when I say, we would probably have a greater alliance of supporters than you did in Iraq.
American: alot of my country didn't and still doesn't support George bush, dumb ideas, or the war.
Of course it all depends on the circumstances. Think what you want. Believe what you want about your country being the best, but don't we all think that our country is the best?
I'd just like to conclude by saying a few words.
1. I hope sincerely that all you brave, wonderful, polite, righteous Americans do not take my critisism of this boob too personally. I am not one to pick fights. But I do defend my country and its people and morals and take what others, especially of different nationalities, say very seriously.
This is just as much for the people of America as it is for the people of Canada.

for tremendous support. This whole ordeal is completely off the record, that'z why i am just, completely heartwarmed by your defences (so to speak) thank you. It really means something when you jump into an argumentative situation that doesn't even concern the defence of your country.
