Just because you shop at Hot Topic doesn't mean you are a poser. I bet some of the people that don't shop there are just afraid of bein called a poser. It's a god damn store and shopping there doesn't make you more "punk" or less "punk". If someone came up to someone else...and said they were poor cuz they didn't buy Abercrombie and Fitch clothes...you would prolly think that's fcking retarded. Cuz it is...and it's the exact same thing.

On another note...wearing black all the time doesn't make you "goth" or "punk"...it just makes you a person that wears black all the time. Wearing Abercrombie and Fitch doesn't make you "prep". It just makes you a person that wears Abercrombie and Fitch.
