A few poems i wrote bout my life

Looking into the future
A tear forms in my eye
I don’t want to face the truth
I want it to be a lie

My family being torn apart
I don’t want this to happen ever
I tried with all I could
To keep us all together

But I failed miserably
It only caused more sadness
But maybe this event
Will end up in gladness

Maybe this is a good thing
Maybe it was fate
Maybe we were meant to love
Before it was to late

They say that we all have a purpose
I wonder what is mine
Everyone else seems to knows theirs
Their lives all seem fine

But mine is like a nightmare
Ripping through my mind
All I can think about
Is what I am to find

What I am to find
Still confuses my already messed up head
I’m thinking about it all the time
And while lying in my bed

I wonder if I have no purpose
It was not givin at my birth
I’m not meant to be here
Not on this earth

Now it all seems clear
Why things are so bad
I now know this
But somehow I don’t feel sad

Maybe it’s because
I know what I was here for
Maybe it’s because
God wanted something more

Something more of humans
To see what they would do
And how they would cope
Without no help or clue

I finally understand this
The weight is off my chest
All I can do now
Is go out and do my best



I know they aren't as good as some other poems on this website but they are the best i can do, these are also my first poems so yeh.
