1 very ture and scary story sumthin to think about

i live in a very small town there is only 1 high school in my area so pretty mych all the teens know eachother and are friends. well i am captin of my high school cheerleading team and it was first day of try outs there was a new gurl who just moved and she was trying out she was very good(her name was katie) so i chose her for the team me and katie became very very close she was beginin to become my best friends. it was around Febuary when me and my boyfriend had broken up we had been going out for about 2 and a hlaf years we decided that it would be for the best we stayed friends how could we not paul was one of the most understanding kind poeple i know, well not only aabout 2 weeks late he and katie where goin out it didnt bother me that much me and katie still remaind best friends. it was our rookie party for our football team and it was a huge party so we all went katie and i decided to show up a little bit late to make a entrince becausxe thats how we are we like the attition lol any how that night was going great, katie and paul where having a fight that night when paul drink he gets very mad at everyone so it was nothing of the unnormal well kaite and paul had left to try and fixs things after about 2 hours they where still upstairs and so i thoguht that i woudl go up there to see if everything was ok because i knwo how to calm paul down so i went up to the room knocked on the door no one anwserd so i knoced again and then i walked in to find kaite laying on the floor with blood everywhere my ex bf had killed my best friend he was there crying on the floor i will never forget what he said to me "im so sorry things got out of hand how could i have done this it wasnt suppose to be like this" i was schoked all i could do was scream everything was kinda a blank from then i guess i scream so loud that everyone in that house heard me even with the music on. they all came up to see what was wrong next thing i know the cops are there and the ambulece was there all i could think about was that that could have been me why did it have to be katie it should have been me i was the one who knew him best she was jsut the new gurl now a year later paul is serving 10 years in jail 10 years that means he will be out and free to live and yet my best friend is dead her partens will never get to see her wedding or will never get to have a grandchild but i will never yet the chnace to share memorise with my best friend i will never get to get ready for prom with her(witch is this year). so ladys what im trying to say is take every moment as it is and be careful please you never know what it is like to lose a best friend until she is gone and to be killed by your ex boyfriend.
