'I love you' means that I accept you for the person that you are, and that I do not wish to change you into someone else. It means that I do not expect perfection from you, just as you do not expect it from me. It means that I will love you and stand by you even through the worst of times. It means loving you when you're in a bad mood or too tired to do the things I want to do. It means loving you when you're down, not just when you're fun to be with. 'I love you' means that I know your deepest secrets and do not judge you for them, asking in return only that you do not judge me for mine. It means that I care enough to fight for what we have and that I love enough not to let go. It means thinking of you, dreaming of you, wanting and needing you constantly, hoping that you feel the same way for me.
You are the single most important person in my life. One thing I have come to realize is love is not always happiness. There are tears, anger, confusion, fears, but at the same time there are smiles, laughter, joy and understanding. All of those things can happen. That's why love is such an emotional thing. You can feel so many different emotions at the same time. That's why it's so overwhelming. But I know one thing...I would not take back any single thing. Everything that has happened between us happened for some reason. And us being strong and making it through this, it only shows that our love is strong enough to last a lifetime.
Did you ever notice how you can be sitting in the middle of doing something one day and all of a sudden u will remember the beginning, like the first time we held hands or the first song we sang together in the car or went to the movies, maybe somethin smaller like a joke that we laughed at for seemed like hours, or a day we spent shopping, or a fast food restaurant we ate at? sometimes ill be sitting in the middle of doing something and ill remember, and it makes me think, look how far we've come, look how long it has been, look how happy we have made each other from day one, and that is something so sentimental that it brings tears to my eyes.
Love is, going to bed at night knowing that there is one person out there who’s thinking of you at the same moment, love is to have the last call of the day, the one last person you want to talk to while lying in bed just before the day is over, love is a smile, its the only thing you want to do when you’re in love, but if there’s not a smile on your face, you can feel it in your heart, love is forgiving, you may fight and go through rough times, but love, gives you the power to forgive and work things out, love is understanding and accepting, love involved confusion and excitement, love is the one thing you can never live without.
You know what I love the most about "us"? I love how comfortable we are with each other. I love how we can endlessly crack on each other but never take the teasing to heart. I love how you laugh like a little boy when I am tickling you. I absolutely adore how when I walk away from you when we are fighting you try to stay mad, but then run after me for fear of me getting kidnaped. I love you and everything about you, the look in your eyes when we kiss me or how you stay up until 4 am watching me sleep. I love how I can call you anytime I need to and somehow you never cease to make me laugh. I love how you need me as much as I need you. I love how you love me.
