Aww You are just too cute You really believe in yourself, don't you? Your truly believe that you have the facts.
Well, let me just state one thing: anyone who starts out an arguement wishing to persuade with "you dumb fcks" is ignorant. No wonder you follow bush...you believe that the only one who is right is you and people like you.
Is this not America? Are we not a melting pot? Was this country not founded on freedom? Should we all be limited to one state of thought?
I think not.
So open your mind and respect those who are opinionated. You do realize that's the only reason I'm saying this don't you? You DISRESPECTED your fellow Americans by calling anyone who disagreed with you a "dum fck"...wow...that's intelligent. You're really convincing me
Let me forward you one of my earlier forwards..
Well, it's over. There's nothing anyone can do about it. Some people don't understand why we get so fired up about it like we do. Well, I'll tell you why. This is our future. How can we not care what the next four years of our lives will bring? How can we not want to help in any way possible to ensure they will go how we want them to go? So what if we can't vote yet? We can support and we can get the word out. That's what I did, and that's what I'll continue to do. It isn't a crime not to, but it isn't stupid to do so either.
Some things we talked about today...
-abortion laws
How dare a man even contemplate making such a decision for a woman? How dare he? I'm a strong believer in pro-choice. That doesn't mean I'm pro-abortion. That means I'm for the woman having the right to have an abortion within her first trimester. That is her legal right and I am so glad I have that choice.
-gay marriage
People are people. It doesn't matter who one loves. Loving someone is a lot better than hating someone just because they're different than you. That is disgusting and ugly. Some people believe that the country was based on the bible. I understand how that can be misconcepted, because the country was founded when everyone was a jesus freak. But the country was not founded on religion The country was founded on the concept of FREEDOM FREEDOM OF RELIGION SPEECH ETC ETC ETC Oh, and all of these people who discriminate against gay people because their religion says gay people are sinners are being hypocrites. The bible also says God is the only one to judge so why don't they follow that? And WWJD people? If you believe in him so much, why don't you stop being so hateful. I'm personally not trying to diss any religion, but if you're going to claim to be a follower of one...follow it I believe in a lot..but thats a different entry.
-support
I can't help but be amused when people tell others they're not patriotic because they don't support the president. I support America and I support the troops, but I do not support the war nor do I support limiting people's rights based on one's religion. Bush can have his opinions, but he can't make laws based on anything religious. He can't. He is the president of the country and therefore should promote the CHOICE versus the limit. He is not the country.
-the parties
Ignorance is put on display when one disses all republicans or all democrats based on one person's actions. I support the man who I think will best benefit me. True, this has always been the Democratic candidate when it comes to presidential campaigns, but that doesn't mean I limit myself to Dems alone. Honestly, I would love to see a hardcore environmentalist up in office, but I also have to be realistic when it comes to politics. I'm a firm believer in standing up for what you believe in even if you're standing alone, but like I stated...I have to be realistic when it comes to this. I'm not conservative at all. Between the two who have a chance, ofcourse I'm going to support the one who I think will better drive the country. However, if a Republican comes along who impresses me more with his plans than the Democrat...I will support him. I'm not sure if this will ever happen, but if it does, it does. Oh, and I do agree a hell of a lot more with the Dem views versus Repub views so that might be why, but I'm not limiting myself here. I saw a pin that said
REPUBLICANS ARE PEOPLE TOO. MEAN, GREEDY PEOPLE.
I didn't get it though because I'm not about that. I don't like Bush, but that doesn't mean I dislike all Republicans. I have a friend who is one and he's one of my closest friends. A friend said it best...
"There is no right or wrong when it comes to politics. It's only a difference of opinion."
And true, some republicans can be very wrong in their actions but the same goes for democrats. Take Herenton for example...I'm not really diggin him all that much.
Oh, and you better believe that I have an even more extensive arguement on each and every one of those categories so if you dare to argue with me...bring it on. I'm ready. It's always nice to see someone with opinions, but always amusing to see someone who has no idea what he or she is talking about.
Have a great day
Molly
