1 A Delightful Review of Party Monster

So, it's the peak of glitter and dance and bam something dreadfully fatal occurs. The perfect plot for a movie, don't you think? Party Monster is an amazing film with extraordinary acting and direction. Very well written, Culkin and Green bring their characters to life with superb talent. Oh wait...their characters are still alive..it was just Angel who died. Whoops Well, let me rephrase...they capture the spirit of James and Alig with true skill. Anyone who begs to differ is obviously blind when it comes to talent. Being a thespian myself, I can smell overacting a mile away. Many like to claim Culkin did just that - overact. Hello Michael Alig was king of the club kids Do you think he just sat around and let all of the exaggeration play out itself? No, silly fools, he was exaggeration personified. So let me state this once more for all the wannabe know it alls...CULKIN DID AN AMAZING JOB Now, he wasn't the only star worthy of an Oscar in this film. No way Seth Green definitely won the award of best actor in this film. He was perfect Truly, he was. Every wave of the hand, every drop of the mouth, every nose he stuck up...was beautiful Usually, you'll see Mr.Green play a regular man who can't get any action, but this definitely showed the world that yes He does have polished talent He really does Oh, and the other actors? They all did wonderful jobs. Each and every one. Even Mr.Gatien's wife...you hated the bitch...but that's why she was so good She got you to hate her. You could just feel the animosity toward her raging inside you. Oh, and let us not forget the genius behind the scenes All of the directors/writers, costume designers, production managers...their talent was put on display as well.

Now, instead of telling you a summary (you can find one anywhere), let me just say this...the movie is a must see Truly, it is.

I just finished reading the book too and I definitely recommend that as well. There's so much you'll never know from the movie unless you read the book. Oh yea - I ordered the shockumentary too so I'll let you know how that goes after I watch it. Oh, and the soundtrack? I'm dying to get it

I'm out
