Omg i totally know what you mean. Im a swimmer too and like NO ONE cares. theyre all obsessed with soccer n basket ball hockey football ect. They make me feel like my swimming doesnt even count as a sport, when its one of the hardest to do. you have to push against lack of air feeling like your lungs are about to burst not being able to see and getting water stuck in your ears n not being able to hear. Im also very dedicated i try as hard as i can and wen i dont do very well it really hurts just like it hurts others wen they loose the "big game" why cant swimmers and runners get any support. ive been swimming since i was 6 competively n i take it serious. Once i even quit because of how people didnt care. its a sport.... an olypic sport to add to that. just like running. as for football.... footballs not in the olympics dont get me wrong im a HUGE football fan but still? can u acknowlage what we do too?
