bull. cheer is a sport cos u hav ur own comps against otha cheer teams and ppl come and cheer 4 u.
9. You can cheer in the bleachers you don't need a bunch of people to run out on the field to give your support to a team.
that is optional, generaly only school teams do that and u can go to clubs out of schools
8. Cheerleaders can practice before the season and in sport rules that is not aloud. So therefore it can't be a sport.
no, so can gymnasts and swimmers and divers and trampolinists, rn't they sports?
7. Any "sport" that takes getting ready for and putting on make up doesn't have what it takes to be a sport.
wrong, gymnastics again, u need to look good for that, and i should know, i am one
6. You don't need to look pretty during sports but you do in cheerleading, so it can't be a sport.

1. Flapping your hands in the hair and jumping up and down, doesn't look cool and anyone can do that.
