A friend should be there,
Trust you and care,
Be able to talk to them about your worst fear,
They will stand up for you, even when others may not,
And answer those questions, others will not
If you lose a friend,
Make sure its true,
Make sure you have that reason
And then let go
Don’t lose a friend because they didn’t say hi
Don’t lose a friend if you once made them cry
Don’t be self-centered, be honest and true,
But don’t be the one others don’t come to
Love each other
Never let go
But if that day happens
Be sure you know
Be sure you know why
And how it may happen
What you did to make them mad
What they did do make you sad
Try to make it better
Try and hard as you can
And when this doesn’t happen
Just say then end.
