I think you guys need to grow up and listen to some good music. None of you guys can even BEGIN to diss hip hop or rap because those genres actually take TALENT, not that you know of any yourselves. Rock takes ABSOLUTELY no talent AT ALL. I could rock if I tried. 50 cent could probably rock. All rock is is some retard going on and on about how he is so "Suicidal" and has all this "Suicidal Tendencies" and gets all these "Ex Wives" etc etc. And then they add a computer generated beat to the background AFTER the oh-so-talented rocker goes on about all that stupid crap. It's pathetic. Whereas hip hop or rap, it actually takes TALENT. Turntables, vocals, ETC. Now I used to like rock. No, I used to LOVE rock. Then a good friend of mine introduced me to rap, and I saw the light (lol). All you guys should discover it too.
[Good music eh? Have you listen to rock? Have you even listened to the lyrics of your music? All it is is, rape, have sex, kill da bitch, smoke the weed, and then you say it over and over again. I guess you can say I'm "dissin". Here's what I'd like you to try and do... Buy a 255 guitar. Then buy a tuner and an amp for it. Then.. try to learn by yourself because you don't have anymore money to get a teacher to teach you how. Let's see how you do. Then by a full drum set... Learn to play. See how good you can play in a week. Also try singing something other then rap. Try accually "throwing" out your voice instead of hiding it with some shitty rhymes. Also, if you want to be cool.. don't use "lol". It shows your lazy. Lazy people don't play the guitar. So basically rock isn't JUST a beat in the background. Rock bands can have from 2 to even 9 members. They have drums, electric guitar, vocals, bass.. im sure there's more.]
And another thing All you people are complaining that rockers only rock about their lives and how they were so hard done by as a child, and so people in the "Shack" or on the "street" are inclined to listen to rock because they can make a connection with it. That's the biggest stereotype I've ever heard It doesn't matter where you live, even if you live in the "shack", you aren't inclined to be a "Idiot, or um rocker" or a criminal. You have the power to choose what you want to do with your life. If you wanna become a criminal, by all means, do it. But don't blame it on the area you live in because I used to live in a pretty bad area, and I get good grades. And also, 90 of rock or more is about how rich they are and all their "guitars" and "Ex Wives" etc, so ALL YOU PEOPLE CAN STICK THAT STEREOTYPE UP YOUR BUTT I swear to God, whoever thinks that needs to take some time to stop and actually listen to the lyrics of what they're listening to everyday.
[You know... I've never heard someone use the word "ex wives" or "ex wife" in any kind of music. Not even rap. ..... Ahem... Listen to the lyrics of what they're listening to? THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WE'RE DOING. Rap however... They go too fast and get mixed up and you can't hear the message they're giving out.. Which is probably a good thing since the rap music lyrics usually consist of rape sex, and whatever I said above.. Now I'm not saying that a few rock artists don't have songs like that... It's just when they do you know it.]
And whoever said that Ozzy Ozbourne isn't poisoning people's minds needs to get a serious reality check He does nothing but scream about how he hates his mother or how he wants to kill so and so or how he's so "Old" and how people didn't think he was going to make and oh look at him now Christ, Ozzy Ozbourne needs to DIE Screw what whoever else thinks. If you like Ozzy, you can die too
[I decided not to take your advice 'if you like ozzy, you can die too'. I don't listen to him much but that doesn't mean I don't hate him. I think he's funny... How he walks and talks.. hahaha.]
All you people who think rock is the "bomb" and you're so "poor" and that it takes so much talent, try listening to 50 cent,Chingy , Trillville, A psychiatrist, T.I., etc and then maybe you guys will get what I am saying and listen to some good music Thanks for your time you needed the lesson on good music Goodbye RAP ON
