Everynight i have this dream all beautiful and white
Many things are golden, such a beautiful sight
Clouded and golden way up in the sky
It looks like heaven but i dont understand why
Did something happen and is this a sign?
I feel the tears come as a i wake up and whine
This dream that i have has been comming for a week
Each time i see my bestest friend who was unique
I cant quite understand all this for i am only seven
Did my bestfriend die last week? is she up in heaven?
I run in to mommy with a tear in my eye
she says its ok and asks why i cry
I tell her im scared i keep having this dream
where everything is white but its a beautiful scene
i tell her i keep seeing my best friend in there
but shes always smiling and tells me she cares
mommy's eyes fill with tears and i wipe them away
she sounds quite upset but she says anyway
"Im Sorry Kristy this is going to be hard
Shelly got in a car crash on Saint Boulevard"
I just couldnt tell you it would be to sad
but she told me to tell you remember the times you both had
she said she would wait by heaven's gate til the day
when its your turn to pass away"
Please dont be sad i know its hard
she gave me this..here its a card"
she opened it with tears so sad
and read the card Shelly once had
Best Friend i will miss you mommy says i will die
but im going to heaven way up in the sky
i dont want be that far from you
please dont be sad there's nothing you can do
Kristi i promise i will wait by the gate
i never will enter i promise to wait
it may be weeks, days, months or years
but your worth it...please no more tears"
she went to bed with many tears
and how she thought she can wait years
she went to bed with a smile and pride
she suffocated her self but proudly died.
