An old friend of mine was raped in August 2000. Every cruel memory of that night, every tear that she has shed, all the pain she felt, is welled up in her stomach in the form of a baby.
I would like to think that she could have the baby and get it adopted, but this world isn't perfect. She felt she couldn't go through with the birth.
Obviously, the people who are against abortions have never been through the awful, despicable thing which is rape. Anything, anything at all which reminds the victim of it is an awful thing, which is to be avoided at all costs. So, she and other victims CAN'T KEEP THE BABY.
Besides, abortions will happen anyway, no matter what the law says. So consider the mothers when you are protesting, the ones who aren't cucooned in a warm, sheltering womb. And I'm not saying it's ok to kill the babies, I'm saying the mothers should also be thought of.
