Sometimes I wish,
that I was a fish.
Swimming far away,
from the light of day.
Further down and further from fear,
Further from everything that I find dear.
I don't belong on this planet,
I feel like sidewalk granet,
Being stepped on again and again.
Why do you always grin?
You smile when you get hurt,
how can you take the pain?
As every peice of rain,
falls to the ground.
As every sound,
falls on deaf ears.
Don't you have slower gears?
As years and years pass by pain sears.
In this slowly fading heart,
soon we shall part.
