According to a person who wrote a "forward" on this site, 5,000 fetuses are aborted every day. Another person said that the ratio of adopted to unadopted children is 3 to 1...Think about it. If there were 5,000 more children born every day, and lets just say only 2,500 of them are given up for adoption, what would the ratio be then? A whole lot less. Read "The Lost Boy" to get a perspective on adoption. Its not so simple to just sit there and the next day, here comes your new parents YAY
The child will grow up either poor and angry at the world, or have everything they could ever want except answers. Answers are the most important thing a person can have. If all you have is questions, it's impossible to be content.
As you can probably tell, i'm pro choice. Abortion shouldnt be used so that you can have sex every night or something...I believe in abstinence until marriage, but sometimes, things just happen...
And while we're on the subject of God (i just sort of brought it up in that sentence, but whatever...) not everyone believes in God. I dont go to church. I havent been raised to believe in God. I dont quite know if i do believe in Him, but i believe in heaven. Right now, i pretty much am feeling that I would rather be in the heaven i believe in than here. Maybe a child would grow up wishing they were dead because they have a horrible life or they stay in a foster home until they are 18, then have no where to go and not enough money to keep themselves going...Which would you prefer?
