A DIABETIC'S POINT

They nag saying simply,"Thats whats Matters most".
"Whats so hard" they always ask,
"It's only one simple task".
But they don't know, there not in my shoes.
I understand that if I don't do what I am suppose to do, I have everything to lose.
They also must understand thats not all what I have to do.
I am a busy teen and fitting in is getting harder,it's true.
Temptations are on my path,
Along with sports,homework,and hard to do math.
I have a life to live but I can not.
I have diabetes that for seven years I have fought.
I don't want pitty or sarrow,
for that I will live tomarrow.
All I need is someone tounderstand.
But I am strong and independent and no one needs to hold my hand.
