I have a question...for only your ears
Why do you insist on causing me tears?
Your words say you love me...but your actions do not
We had something special...as far as I thought
You told me you loved me...wheather or not it was true
And this sheltered heart...began to love you
I know life is hard but im not to blame
So why is being with me something you shame?
I have another question...to which you can respond
Was this emotion a lie...or a passionate bond?
Do you love me or do you not?
Do you hate the very thought?
Are we lovers...are we friends?
Will what we have meet a terrible end?
One things for certain though - its true
My heart - for now - belongs to you
Its your choice to cherrish it...or throw it away
So make up your mind...you decide our fate
If you love me...ill love you as well
I'll remember always...why for you i fell
And if i die before you do
I'll go to Heaven and wait for you
If your not there on judgement day,
I'll know you went the other way
I'll give the angels back their wings
And risk the loss of everything
And if Heavens gates wont let you through,
I'll go to Hell to be with you
If you dont love me though,
I wont shed a tear
I'll move on with my life
With out doubt or fear
So i have one more question ... id like an answer from you
Why do you do to me...the things that you do?
You say you want to forgive and forget
But i cannot say that I'm ready to yet
I cant explain what I feel
'Cause theres not enough time
But I'll love you forever
Regardless your crime
