I am in yr 9 and this week i have been doin my sats and on our first day of sats one of my mates bethyn got sent home really sick. Now let me tell ya abar bethyn, shes always been tall but shes neva been a stick and has always looked better cos she carries tha extra bit of weight. in the last month tho, weight has just been droppin off her, but its not on purpose, i sit by her at dinner and she always has a propa dinner. we have all sed aswell tho tha she has been lookin ded grey skinned in the last week. So we were in our exam and she started being sick so she got sent out and had to got home. we all thought she just had a bug. however 2 days later her 2 best mates got called to our head because she had news on bethyn. we were all terrified because we know tha if everythin was alright she would have just rung us herself. any way they came back with news tha shocked us all. Bethyn had been diagnosed with diabetes, was in intensive care and was lucky, if she would have got to the hospital 2 days later she would have been dead. This only happened today 5th may 2005 and we are all organising flowers and cards. she just doesnt realise how many mates shes got.We are havin them sent to the hospital because we cant see her yet, as soon as she is in a ward, there are 30 of us goin up to see her. she has got so many mates but i dont think any of realised how much we value bethyn and wha r life is like without her. i just wonder wha we would have done if she did go to hospital to late. This is why i think that to any one with mates, make sure they realise just how much ya luv them, you neva no when it might be too late XXXX
