Quick Question; Do you think God would have made Adam and Eve, told 'em to have kids, and then said, aw man, oops, I can't believe tbhat I did that I forgot to make the DNA so it wouldn't turn out three-eyed freaks I can't believe I forogot
If you think God was powerful enough to create Adam and Eve, don't you think He might have thought about this? I mean, he's omniscient (all-knowing, in case ya don't know Greek)
OK, your second question.
Who said that anything God made was perfect? Especially something with free choice God gave us the ability to choose, and I'll explain why below. Therefore, we could continue being perfect, or stop.
You, I assume, are a normal human being. Therefore, you have grown from a tiny wee infant to a reasoning whatever-age-you-are. So, if you decided to make a clay pot, would that pot also grow up to be a kettle? Come on God made us, and he made us pretty well, but we decided to rebel against God. So, we are being punished. That's why the world ain't perfect.
Ok, lets say that you have every power you can imagine. Lets say that you could do ANYTHING you want to do. Just stop and think about that for a minure...antyything you want to do, poof, you have the power. time travel, levitate, whatever. Oh, and lets say one more thing...you live in an empty vacuum, nothing exists.
What's the point in diong anything you want to if there's nothing to do? There's nobody anywhere to see that you even exist, let alone that you can do all this sweet stuff. How boring would that be? So God created Adam and Eve. Now, I want you to think of your friends; your fights and your fun. All the stuff you've evcer done with them, all the fun you've had...tell me, would you want every friend to be your friend because they are programmed to be your friend? Mindless robots? Think of someone who loves you...would you rather they love you for who you are, or would you rather they were mindless robots who didn't have a choice, and had to love you? Sure, that might be fun for a day, but whats the point in having that? So, God created Adam and Eve with the freedom to choose whatever they wanted. He didn't interfere. He knew what was going to happen, sure, but he also knew that some people would choose, voluntarily, to love Him. People like me.
