another thought on the abortion thing!

I believe abortion is wrong... except MAYBE in a case where it either the fetus or the mother of the child's lives will be endangered. there are plenty of options other than abortion to deal with an unwanted pregnancy. i understand that rape happens, trust me... I was sexually molested for 8 years, fortunately i was never actually raped
1- dont have sex to begin with until you are happily married, and then you wont need to worry about the single mom bit
2- if you do become pregnant out of wedlock, it is your fault (again i make an exception with rape)deal with the consequences of your actions if you are old enough to get pregnant, you are old enough to know what is right and what is wrong
3- DO NOT GET AN ABORTION there are other options. Yes i understand that at 15, 16, 17 you cant have a kid on your own, unless you come from a really wealthy family or have major help from the father, but that doesnt mean that your child deserves to die.
Try to imagine what your little one will look like when they are 1st born, then imagine them as they grow up. They can have soo many possibilities in there lives.
Adoption is a wonderful option in the long run. Ya if ur raped its hard to deal with the pregnancy and the daily reminder of what happened to you, but trust me, you will have that reminder even if you arent pregnant My best friend was adopted by a couple who tried for YEARS to have a baby and couldnt. There are hundreds of women who would give anything to be able to raise a child and just cant for various reasons. You were blessed with a baby, if you cant take care of them, give them the chance to live and become something. Your little one could become anything They could be the one to cure cancer(ya it sounds cheesy, but its tru)
Had my friends mom had her aborted, i would not be the same person i am. I wouldnt have met one of the sweetest most wonderful people in the world. My friend has made a difference in my life, and i in turn affect others. the same will be said for any baby that is given the chance to live life.
i have seen the effects of someone getting pregnant outside of marriage, 2 of my cousins have baby girls and neither of them are married. But when they told us that they were pregnant, my whole family accepted it, and loved them anyway. Parents do NOT leave your daughters high and dry if she comes home pregnant, you dont have to like what she did, but she is still your daughter and just think, you will be a grandma My cousins daughters are an adorable 1 yr old and 6 month old Our whole entire family has been blessed with them
Dont think that im like way older than all of you or anything. Im only 17, but i've seen all of the good that can come out of an "unwanted pregnancy". and trust me the good outweighs the bad 100 times over
