I've been looking for some1 who feels the same as me.
I was raised catholic, and dissagree w/ what i was taught.
i've been looking for an explaination for a long time now.
I brought it up in my science class when we watched a video on evelution. we've been studying greek mythology for a while now, 2.
i was frustrated because evolution is tied so closley to religion and that it didn't make since to me at all.

First of all religion is not supposed to be taught in public school, because it alters peoples beliefs sometimes. So i brought it up. i talked about the greek mythology too. ( by the way, greek mythology and the belief that god created evrything are 2 totally different things) I've been told that greek mythology is just a bunch of stories that the greeks made up to explain things, but how don't we know that they're not loosley based on true stories. they cud have just added the monsters and gods to drag you in. And how don't we know that god wasn't made up the same way. ( to explain things) science cud very well just be the government's storie or scientists cud have been brain washed by aliens all of those thoeries have about the same amount of evedince behind them. it just happens to be that if u choose to believe the alien or gov't explaination your crazy, but if you believe in god and pray to somthing that doesn't talk back ( or to so called crazy people he/she does talk back) than your a perfectly sane angel. Yet many crack adddicts and drug users etc. or crazy people worship god like they're alone in the universe.

i'm not trying to make u chang your beliefs, i just want my opinion 2 b heard.
