this poem is about who i am, i used to be suicidal but now im not.. and this is what ive become... read slow and think... make a reply if ya like it and what not

I stand alone
Between darkness and light
I stand in the shadows
Scared of the night

You walk so close
But you’ll never see
All of the pain
That tears at me

It hurts so bad
but I don't complain
because nothing lost
is nothing gained

my fear is strategic
of learning to deal
with the world, the pain
and everything, to feel

I deal, I cope
I stress, no more
forgiveness is a blessing
I choose to ignore

I am who I am
no infidelities
beauty, ripping at the seams
bursting, out of me

I fight for whats wrong
whats ugly, unfair
but I am no better a person
than the parent who isn’t there

I torment the pretty
the smart, the strong
no answers solved
but everything wrong

you see me how you want
I am not your little pet
I do what I want
I live, with no regret
