I NEED MY SPACE! WHAT SHOULD I DO

My girlfriend and i have been together for about 3 years now, we did everything together i took her to every school dance shes ever been to, and i'm in her senior pictures, i took her to florida for a week about 7 months ago, and about a year and a half ago she cheated on me 3 times, when i found out i didnt really lose it and i just broke up with her for about a week, well i guess i forgave her so we continued going out. She just graduated High School and got her drivers license. About 2 weeks ago we went to one of her friends graduation partys and i drank a little too much but then she asked me to drive her to another one so i did and drank more so one of my friends shows up and tells me to go put some bottles in the car, so i do and as im walking back up, i see him and her dancing, so i dont say anything but as soon as we get in the car at about 2am i start yelling at her like i never have before calling her "slot" and " i remeber when you cheated on me" and i got myself so mad that i grabbed her and put her in sorta a headlock i didnt hit her at all though, but she got scared and a minute after all that happened i was saying i was sorry begging for forgivness but the damage was already done, so we've been broken up for 2 weeks now and the first week she wouldn't awnser my calls or my texts and she blocked me online. Now she has unblocked me online and i showed up at her house with a diamond ring to say im sorry and she just says i need my space, i need my space. I finally listened to everyone and haven't called her or made any contact with her in about 3 days its killing me but thats the best thing to do everyone says. I dont know if it is, i dont want her to forget about us or me and find somebody new cause that would just kill me, we've been together for 3 years and shes now 18 and im 21 and maybe cause she just graduated and has her license she wants to spend time more with her friends? or is she hurt that bad by what happened?
