Excitment and amxiousness had turned to numbness and emptiness
This wasnt suppose to happen, you were suppose to come home with me
I still remember your perfect face.....asleep at peace
You never had a chance to live life ,
but in my mind your life lives on
I think of what you would look like right now and what would you be doing
You could never be replaced and no one could ever fill the void
Jacklyn was my baby that died shortly after birth, the feelings
that I had that day I could never explain.No one ever expects
to go into a hospital to have a baby and come home with out your
baby.I felt as my world had ended and no one could ever feel
as I did. A life that had been living in me for a full pregnany
term was suddenly gone. WHY? WHO? It still isnt all to clear to me, but I will never accept the fact that she is gone. As my poem
states....in my mind her life lives on.
