I've been looking at you from aside while my feelings trying to hide I finally got the strenght and took the chance I asked you to be my date for a school dance You said 'yes, what time?' I said seven, he said 'we're on', I felt in Heaven The big night came My dress was sparkling my hair done, Butterflies in my stomach started to run I got there at seven, you weren't there I stayed out waiting. 7:30 not a sign of you, just giggling couples coming hand in hand, I wasn't gonna let my hope die 8:00 I was still out in a cold March night Icy breeze playing with my hair, while my body shivering with despair 9:00 I started to leave, looking up at the shining stars up above Tears of pain rolling down my cheeks I relized I have been stood up How could have I been so stupid I feel so betrayed my heart is breaking I can bearly breathe Why did you do it? Was it some kind of game? Those questions will stay un answered but the memory of that cold night will forever stay. **I WROTE THIS POEM WHEN A GUY I CARED ABOUT STOOD ME UP ON A GR DANCE (GIRLS REVERSE) I WAITED AS EVERY CAR APPROACHED WITH ALITTLE HOPE IN MY HEART, BUT HE NEVER SHOWED UP, I FELT SO HUMILIATED AND BETRAYED, AND HE MADE AN EXCUSE THAT HE HAD TO WORK LATE AND DIDN'T HAVE MY CELL NUMBER. I HAD BEEN CRYING FOR TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW BECAUSE I WAS SO SYCED AND HAPPY TO BE DISAPPOINTED BIG TIME =( ** if you like the poem or can relate please e-mail me!
