love...thats a funny thing...over millions of conversations, coffees, teas, alcohol, heartbreaks, songs etc...love itself is trying to be expressed...like one thing - it can be interpreted in different ways and there are different sorts of love but what is love? in movies its "the thing that weakens the soul and that makes us reach for more", to my friends its "when you look into someone elses eyes and you find yourself", in songs its basiclly a form of missing someone when you see them with someone else - hence the saying "the hardest thing you can do, is watch the one you love - love someone else" but to me, i believe its when everything in the world reminds you of the one person and for a moment - they become your world...like many of you - you may agree disagree or just plainly don't want to know what love is but i do...If you don't realise - teenagers are becoming more likely to quickly get themselves into relationships and start to begin "puppy love"...to my retreat leaders - we are not old enough to realise what love is but it depends sometimes on the situation, the people and the 'chemistry'...we are not mature enough and as they say "love is not a feeling, it is a decision - euphoria is a feeling"...this is right in a sense to me, i mean you cannot be indecisive in a relationship but what is a normal relationship? what is the sain point of love?...to love someone is completely different than to be in love with someone...to love with your heart is one thing - but to love with your heart and soul is another...soul? our being. what makes us who we are which means when they're missing, your missing...some of this may seem far to farfetched for a 15 year old to be writing but honestly what is love? if a teenage girl or boy came up to you would you be able to answer straight away?...yes it is true that without social communication we would not be experiencing things like this eg. our religious surroundings or our own beliefs but love are humans weak points...if it dies, this may be because the candle wasn't lighten to begin with - speaking metaphorically but then sacrifice is another factor...yet all the strings attatched to any formality of love we do with our own minds, our own hearts and our own souls...it can be used against or for things but the true purpose of love? its unexplainable...only you know...and as Nicole Richie writes - "...that we are not perfect at all. The truth is, all we can do is try."
