But I never thought it would hurt this much.





I met u in the summer, I was so happy

I had never known what love was,

That was until you showed me



Camp ended and I didn’t hold out much hope,

For our love to still be strong.

But u still loved me and u still wanted me



An autumn afternoon, sitting in the park

Right before school started again

I never thought school could tear us apart like it has



We carried on for a few more weeks

I saw you in the high street

You went one way and I went the other

We planned to meet up later

You couldn’t make it though

I never thought back then

That in the car park

Would be the last time you were mine



You dumped me

I was so upset

It was by text at school

I cried all day

And all night



You said you wanted me back

I felt I couldn’t trust you

So I blew you off

I treated you like dirt



Then two months past I saw you again

I couldn’t help loving you again



And then you said it

This is my girlfriend



I was so upset

But, it was my fault

For all the times I treated you like dirt

I just wanted to say I still love you

And I always will





Maybe I was stupid to text you and tell you that

Especially now your girlfriend read the text



But just remember

However long it takes for you to come back

I will be right here

Waiting for you to love me again
