I could ask for expensive things, Like money, cars, or diamond rings, But all I want from you is this, A hug, a promise, and a kiss. A hug to show you'll hold me tight, Even on those cold winter nights. A promise to show you'll never lie, Or tell things to make me cry. And a kiss to show me how you feel, And help me see emotions that are real. But I'm giving you something on this day, You've had it for a while but I couldn't say. I give you all my love and my heart, In hopes that you and I never turn and part.
