1 A . A Comment To All People Who Like Music

I almost have to respect the original post, just because you can read most of it without getting lost in the sentences.
Getting back on track, I don't see what the point is.
Isn't it a good thing that there are all these different types of music? It seems as if there are a lot of fans for each genre all over the world, so it all evens out, am I right? Why do we need to waste out time bothering eachother about it?
Obviously, people were created with differences. Look at all the different races there are. Look at the color of peoples hair and eyes. Isn't it the same way for music and clothing?
Personally, I hate rap. Mainly, I hate punk, too. It's just not my thing and for the most part, it's immature.
Some punk is okay, but the music is degrading after a while.
Most punk has better lyrics then rap, but punk lyrics STILL SUCK.
Punk really doesn't even exist anymore. There are a few punk bands floating around still, but mainly it's dead.
Like "The Bouncing Souls" is one of the few punk bands that fit into the original punk genre. Now, peoples idea of punk is "Simple Plan", "Good Charlotte", "Greenday", ect, ect.
I particularyl enjoy indie (indipendant) music. I used to like emo before it was destroyed by scenesters, but as long as they're happy with their lives, it's no skin off my nose. Indie is calm, it has meaningful lyrics, a nice beat and it's not overplayed.
Not many people know indie. If you're tired of all of the other genres of music, you should most deffinately check it out. The most popular indie bands I can think of are "Death Cab for Cutie", "The Postal Service", and "Bright Eyes". "Bright Eyes" is one of my favorites. Indie isn't always happy and mellow music, though. Some have heavy distortion and the lyrics are screamed. Mainly, indie is a catagory of music for all of the bands that nobody could figure out where they belong.
To sum it all up, if you like rock, listen to rock. I can suggest a few bands for you, too...like "Showbread" or "MewithoutYou". If you like rap, then great. Go for it. You're in luck, because it's on the radio 24/7. If you like acoustic music, then indie is good incase you have a hard time finding any good bands. I could go on, but this is long enough as is.
