9. I love cracking sculls and ankles on the wall during flip turns.
8. I totally didn't want to celebrate Christmas with my friends and family anyways, coach A special 4 hour practice with you is the best present I could have asked for
7. Really, it's not so bad having permanent racoon marks around your eyes, it's not that noticable if you get good makeup...
6. The fact that nail polish only stays on for one practice, if you're lucky, doesn't bother me, I'll just let my nails dry up and fall off, they aren't there for any special reason, are they?
5. It's the classic sign of a swimmer, the inevitable reek of chlorine. It won't go away, don't even bother, just grin and say you like it that way, you WANTED to smell like poisonous chemicals today
4. Sore arms, sore shoulders, sore legs, sore muscles. Need I say more?
3. Nearly getting your hand or arm amputated by those crazy swimmers in the next lane who swing their arms like a madman every stroke...
2. The, excuse my bluntness, really fat guy swimmers who's blubber rolls over their stomach, concealing their tight speedos, making them look naked...it can be rather disturbing.
1. The sandpapery skin, cracked lips and dry hair that comes with swimming twice a day. It also doesn't ever go away...
