I knew in that moment you weren't someone I'd forget.
Your smile left me speechless as I fell under your spell,
And I knew that when tomorrow came our blind date would go well.
All eyes looked our way as we danced across the floor,
In the comfort of your presence I wasn't lonely anymore.
The night went by so fast though I wished it'd never end,
And lying quietly in your arms my heart began to mend.
Afraid of all that once had caused my heart to crack and break,
Knocking down my wall would take a tool no one could make.
But looking in your eyes I saw something new to me,
and all at once I felt the chains of love breaking free.
Now I've given all I am and placed it in your care,
