I'm now 16 years old. When I was 11 I overheard my grandparents saying how my mother had been raped, and that her rapist was my father. Ever since that day I have finally been able to understand why my mother doesn't seem to love me. And ever since that day I have suffered from depression, and have self harmed for the last 5 years. I also, whilst I love my dad, know that he is not my real father.

For all of you people who believe that abortion is wrong - think of it this way... My life has been turned upside down ever since I found that out, and I believe that my mother probably regrets keeping me. Have you any idea how that feels? I would have been aborted, had my mother had the choice, unfortunately, she did not find out until it was too late.

In my opinion, my mother would have had a better quality life, with an abortion, and I would not have had to go through all this pain. So yes, abortion should stay. It should not just be used as birth control, and it should be thought about a grest deal, but people should be allowed to make their own decision. If you don't believe in abortion, nobody is forcing you to have one, but please, stop blaming the people who do have abortions.
