We had a big old house. I was the youngest of 2 sisters, both were home. I was in the 8th grade when this happened and my two sisters are a year appart the oldest a sophmore and the youngest a freshman in highschool. My oldest sisters name is Kelly and my other one second oldest was Kristina, and mine is Katie. My mom and dad were at work, and we just got home from school. I was in my room doing my homework when the power went off, without a power source I went down stairs. Not thinking anything of the storm and the power going off. The phone rang, and Kelly answered it, my mom was on the phone and told Kelly she was going to be late to wait out the storm. It was storming pretty heavily, so my sister sent me down stairs in the basement to get the radio. I brought it up staris. My sister acted like they were going to pee there pants when I came up. I asked them what was wrong, they just stood there in shock, I didn't get what was wrong so I lit another candle and turned on the raido. Tornado watches were affect. I turned around and my sisters were just standing there. I asked Kristiana what was wrong. She finally snapped back in reality, and was like. When you were in the basement, the t.v turned on. I was lik ok, maybe the power is on, I went to the light nothing happened. I thought maybe it went on for a second and turned back on, calming my sisters down we sat by the candles. Mom called back again to tell us that we should probably go in the basement, because of the storm. We went down stairs bringing the flash lights, candles, and radio with me. I decided that we should probaly bring the animals down. We had two dogs, and once cat. After I brought my animals down stairs. Kelly had to go to the bathroom. She went into the basements bathroom, and Kristina acted scared. I looked at the dirrection she was looking, and the washer machine's cover went up. We thought oh its probably are imangination till, the dogs started to bark at the wall. Kelly came out of the bathroom crying telling me that the linning closet's door knob is moving. Right then we all became scared, it's not just a coinsidence that in one stormy night the lining closets door knob was moving t.v went on and then off, and the washer machines cover opened. Also dont forget to mention the dogs barking at the wall. My sisters and I were scared now. We decided it would probably be better to think about other things. Just then we heard doors slamming upstairs. My sisters and I were like oh my god, let me out of here. But my sisters were to scared to move, and I being the brave and more tom boyish sister desided we'll never know what it is inless we explore, right when I opened the door the kitchen looked like a mess. But the rest of the house was fine, right where the kitchen was I found a old necklace. It was a locket. It had a picture of an old lady, but the picture was fimaler, because, in our family album that picture was in it. I asked my mom about the locket, she asked me where I got it, and I told her in the kitchen, she told me that that old lady was her great grandma and that locket was burried with her. The house was a old family heir loom. My mom told me that lady sometimes roams the hall, and my sisters and I used to tell her that we were playing with Auntie Susan. Auntie Susan has been dead for 23 years. Scairy as it seems, I liked to tell you that my house is haunted, and I hear foot steps as I'm writing this on our deck, and i feel i am being watched.
