I have my good days and my bad,
But I always seem to make it through.
I follow directions exactly,
But I never really know what to do.
Sometimes I cry a little too hard,
and I can feel my heart start to break.
Then I stop because I realize that can't happen,
There's no feelings left to take.
I take each day step by step,
and I try not to worry about tomorrow.
But all I can think about is yesterdays,
as my heart fills with unending sorrow.
But each day I can feel you here,
Even though you're not with me.
And I cry each night until I fall asleep,
But I always wake up and there's a rainy day to see.
I get this aching inside of me,
And I feel like I can hardly stand.
Then i dream that you're standing beside me,
And holding tightly to my hand.
I see you in my dreams at night,
You're the one that's forever there.
You can't take away the love I have,
And you can't take away the memories we share.
