Without some murdering and some lieing (is that spelled right?), the world would be a better place. Though it depends on who gets murdered and what the lie is. And I don't think that the world would be a better place without pre-marital sex. "I believe that love is free" That's a quote from a band called Garbage, from a song called "Sex Is Not The Enemy." What's wrong with people showing that they love each other before they get married?
"I WOULD RATHER LIVE MY LIFE AND DIE TO FIND OUT THERE ISN'T A GOD, THAN TO BELIEVE THERE ISN'T ONE AND THEN FIND OUT THERE IS." I don't understand this statement. Because if God isn't real, do you realize that you would've spent your whole life worshipping and trying so hard to please some one who doesn't exist? And how do you know that you have the "right" religion? According to everyone, their religion is the best and right one, and if you don't believe what they believe, you're going to Hell. It wouldn't matter that you believed in a God, it would only matter that you didn't believe in the "right" God.
Ok, I don't believe in Heaven and Hell, but I don't understand why I would want to go to Heaven. If anyone can go as long as they ask "God" for forgiveness before they die, I could be stuck with Hitler and/or some one just as terrible for eternity. Now why would I want to do that? And (I know that Christians have a rebutle (sp?) for this point, and I've heard it already)if "God" was real, I understand that he would be responsible for all the good things that happen to us, but he would also be responsible for all the bad things that happen to us, right? So why do you worship some one who's a murderer and a rapist and a child abuser? Now, I understand that he would have to kill some people, when they die from old age. But why would he kill all these little kids who believe in him, who get lukemia or something? If some random guy (not "God")raped a 13 year old girl and then stopped a little boy from drowning, do you think that that guy shouldn't go to jail and suffer for what he did to that girl just because he saved another kid's life?
