Should I Have To Leave This Earth,.....

My heart is that of a bottomless ocean,
which has yet to be filled with pain and sorrow.
The closing of a door can only stop me for now,
but can never hold me from eternity.
Should my father come to take me home,
there is nothing more that I can do.
Should I have to leave this torn Earth,
I'll only be taken from you.
I want to say right here and now,
that I love you and always will.
If soon rather than later,
I'm taken to the place of everlasting perfection,
then I want to say what I need and want to now,
so that no regrets are within me.
There is only one way to express the feelings I have for you,
yet my heart is not strong nor is it wise enough yet to figure out what that way is at this time.
I'm sorry for the times I cancelled out on you,
simply because there was too much to do.
I'm sorry for the times I put you down,
and only hope there is and was time to make up for that.
I'm sorry for ever doubting you on anything,
I should have know you were the only person I could trust.
Though I know I could go on for days with my endless apologies,
I think you understand.
I think you know and forgive me,
I can only hope it's just that way.
You've done so much to make me happy,
so there's so many reasons to thank you.
So, thank you for helping me with problems,
that always got me down.
Thak you for picking me up again,
when I thought all hope was lost.
Thank you for the kind words you say,
that melt my heart a million times in one day.
Don't ever be discourraged,
for God will watch over you as well as I.
And never look down upon yourself or others,
for he still is watching this day.
I love you and will be waiting,
to open the beautiful screaming gates.
And hope you'll find your way there,
no matter how long it takes.
