La-La Land
Max sat through his English exam,
Staring off into La-La Land.
He thought of all his hopes and dreams.
One of which his name would gleam
Upon the seat of many pants,
Written with a golden seem.
Max thought of a hope that someday,
He'd make a world
Where you could play, Play, PLAY!
The world would be
A large Central Park
You see.
Where children rule,
On their children stools.
What a world that would be.
And he dreamed against dreams,
And hoped against hope.
That in the near future,
His brother would be proclaimed a dope.
He knew it was mean,
He knew it was harsh.
But how Max longed to see
His brother drown in a deep, dank marsh.
But then he saw his mother's cry
And gave the story a happy ending without a blink of an eye.
Max would swoop down on a great, long vine,
And save his dear brother.
Max, what a guy!
Mrs. Turner awoke him from his trip,
"Where did your exam go?" she said, very harsh.
And Max answered with a quivering lip,
"It must have sunken in the mud,
While I saved my brother from the deep, dank marsh."
