The Monster The monster is very big and very strong His will to live is one prolonged He is against you every day and night You are unsure how long you can keep up the fight He steals from the good, and gives to the bad His way of life you don't understand Where is he going, what is his plan Why did he choose you, of all in this land? You want to beat him, you want him dead We're almost there, they all said Their strategy is good, their formula is thick But his ingenious scheme, is making you sick Your family loves you and loves you so It would hurt so much to see you go Profuse is the amount of tears that were shed When the doctors announced you were gone to bed This I'm sure I never want to see But this I'm sure, is the monster in me -Andrea P
