Kevin keagon was my best friend,
he came over everyday. We laughed a lot and had some fun,
and played in our own kind of way. We would talk a lot, share some secrets,
while we took a walk in the park. I usually wasn't allowed out late,
because it was after dark. Kevin, kevin, what can i say,
when i see you lying there. The tears make it hard to breath now
your death is what i fear. I remember it well, it was a blue car,
i'll have to tell them that in court. But you can't help me now can you?
because your still on life support. The doctor loked at my red, swollen eyes,
and said i need some rest. "sorry, no news on kevin yet"
he said as he rubbed his chest. The long walk home was hard for me,
i couldn't get him out of my head. I just kept picturing him,
lying half dead in that bed. I almost ran back to the hospital,
because i got a sudden chill. "somthing has happend" i thought to myself
it was making me feel ill. I went up to my room and lie on my bed,
waiting for i don't know what. Then i fell asleep from thinking to much,
and the quiet breating from my mut. I awoke to a sound of a distant ring,
i realised it was the phone. I heard my mother talking so quiet,
but i could tell from what happend form her tone. I was already crying before she came in,
she held me so close. "why did he have to die mother? i cried,
she said "listen to me at the most"
i got very confused, wat was there to say?
my best friend had died that night. "kevin recovered, hes gonna be fine... No need to worry, its gonna be all right."
i ran to go out on some nice clothes,
tears still streaming down my cheek
we drove as fast as we could to the hospital,
i saw him there, lookng so weak. "kevin!" i cried as i ran to his bed,
"i thought i almost lost you kid!"
i then flung my arms around his neck. "for a while, you almost did."
