one day while st. peter is standing at the pearly gates, when he suddenly has to go to the bathroom very bad. so he asks jesus to take over for a little while. of course jesus is happy to do it, so he sthands at the pearly gates until an old man hobbles up. jesus is not quite sure what to do, so he asks "what did you do in your life?" the man says, "I was a carpenter. "were you?" says jesus, interested. "well, tell me more." "I had a very famous son," the old man replied. "well," says jesus. "tell me about this famous son of yours. "he had holes in his hands," the old man tells jesus. and jesus is so touched. wit tears in his eyes, he says, "Father?" The man looks at him. "Pinocchio?"
