I am Dr Tam David-West an attorney in Nigeria representing the family
of the late General Sani Abacha. His widow, Hajia Mariam Abacha
is searching for an associate outside Nigeria to do business with.
If you can recall, Nigeria lost her former military ruler (late
Gen. Sani Abacha) on the 8th of June 1998. Since then my client's
widow, Hajia Mariam Abacha and her first son Mohammed Abacha
have been undergoing series of witch-hunting from the present civilian
government of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Their bank accounts have been frozen. (here in Nigeria and abroad).
Millions of dollars legitimately earned by them from series of contracts
awarded and concluded by the family have been forcefully seized. All
companies belonging to the family such as Selcon Aluminium Company, Selcon
Airline, just to mention a few has been closed down. Also travel restriction
has been placed on the entire family and even my humble self.
Above all these, Mohammed, the late head of states first son is
currently in detention for phantom murder charges and he is undergoing
series of trials.
All these turbulence presently affecting the family is a personal
vendetta against the family because the present civilian President
was tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for coup plotting.
He however regained freedom after the death of General Sani Abacha
and eventually rigged his way into power. After which he started
carrying out his witch-hunting strategies.
Hajia Marian Abacha, the former first lady of the Nation was able
to secretly ship out the sum of $35.5M in cash out of the country with the
assistance of a foreign based security courier company . These
were done because of the fear that the government might discover
the cash and possibly seize them also.
We are soliciting your assistance in the collection of the funds
in Canada as the beneficiary of the said funds for safe keeping
pending when travel restriction is lifted. Also, you may be required
to advice the family on how best the funds can be invested in the
mean time pending when all restrictions on the family is lifted.
All machineries have been put in place to ensure a successful collection of
the funds and I will appreciate it if we can count
on you treating this correspondence as highly confidential as non-adherence
is the only key word that can undermine the successful collection of the
funds.
If you are willing to be of assistance, Hajia Mariam is offering
you 15% of the total sum of the funds as compensation for assisting
