Living In Shadows---
Some days are good
Others are bad
Sometimes I'm Happy
Sometimes I'm Sad
I try to be good
I try to be kind
They just don't know
What goes through my mind
Living in Shadows
Is what it seems like to me.
We're not true to ourselves
But to what they want us to be
I just want this to stop,
So I can be who I am.
But this can't be so,
I don't think that i can.
Like it or not,
We all are a shadow,
One is a leader
And all the rest follow.
When the say jump,
We shout back "How High?"
If it meant being cool,
Most would jump to the sky.
But I'm Plain sick and Tired
Of living like this
There's to much in life,
That I don't want to miss
I hate living life,
According to what people say.
Trying to be popular,
But hating each day.
I wonder if there's a pattern here,
That's visible here?
Is that livingin shadows
Can only bring tears.
