Fourteen years ago today,
God took my wonderful daddy away,
Their were no worries,
but a lot of whys,
and of course we all still cry,
We remember the good,
We remember the bad,
We try to bite our tongues,
but we still get really sad,
We love you a lot, this is a fact,
we know it can't happen, but we want our dad back,
I need your help so often,
I wish you could be here,
But when I close my eyes and think of you,
I know that you are near,
You are someone who could never be replaced,
Mom loves you dearly,
and you still put a smile on her face,
we need you to know you're in our hearts forever,
And we can't wait until we are together.
Dad,
I love you and I know we will be together again, I cherish the 7 years we had together, I only wish it could have been longer.
