Alone in the darkeness
Alone in my room
I wonder to myself
Who really cares,
What the hell should i do with my life
A heart left broken,
A soul left to diminish . . .
A feeling of emptiness
With a wish to soon subside
Knowing an object is in my pocket
That i am supposed to hide
The feeling of resentment
Builds up everyday
Not a person to understand
And no one to help me through
A difference is made
When a friend pretends to care
An indifference is shown
By those people who are just really there
I wish i had someone
But just wishing won't do
I need to know what it feels like
To make a dream come true
I wipe away the tears
That wash over my face
And I reach into my pocket to release all my fears
Nobody would mind
If i wasn't here
I'm only wasting my time
Only wasting the years.
My fingers squeeze around the blade
And the pouring of the crimson liquid
Fails to cease
It sickeningly brings about a smile to my face
And i move the blade to my wrist,
Watching a red path being traced.
The thought has stuck with me
Since many years before,
But too afraid to take action,
Thinking there were still things in my life that i adore.
As a slice is seen, digging deep into my skin,
A rip is felt in my heart as well.
My life flashes before me
I remember the good and the bad
A cool breeze hits my neck
As a tear stained face rushes to my side.
I don't know who it was
But i know that they saw
The remaining blood drain from my body
As i leave them alone in the darkness of the night.
