Excuses that really work as to why you haven't done your homework!

Ones with a * I have used, ones with a # my friends/classmates haves used.
*My cat was sick on it.
*I was ill.
*#I was absent from school for two weeks, and therefore unable to find you [the teacher] to explain.
*#My twelth cousin twice removed died, and his funeral was in Aruba, and I was absent whilst I was away.
*(Burst into hysterical tears, waist half the lesson, saying that you tried so hard for days, and was unable to complete other homework, as you were struggling so hard. This works great if you haven't done any of your homework.)
#I was sick last night.
*My sister stole it.
#I sprained my arm, and had to spend all evening in St. Helier Hospital (or whatever your local hospital is).
#*+ Entire population of world. I wasn't in the lesson (works great with those dim teachers who we all love, but strngely, no one got more than sixty in the end-of-year exams.) N.B. Those dim teacher assign you the work, but no one does it. Only under extreme circumstances you will need an excuse for this one.
*My dog Teddy died.
*Teddy the second died.
#My cat died (cannot be used on same teacher. Never use by same one pupil in one school year).
#My other cat died.
*My Goldfish, Goldfishie, was squished by my sist... (burst into hysterical sobs).
*Goldfishie the second died.
Ya' know, it's astounds me that teachers fall for the pet dying thing SO WELL!!!
All of these have been tried and tested. If one first time they fail, please don't sue me. This is not an encouragment to not do your work, just helpful. Never use two or more excuses for one piece of work. Teacher will get suspicious, tell other teachers, and all of these will be noted down and invalid by everyone. School will then hate you, but please don't sure me!!!
