i decided to tell this story as part of a thank you to who i know of as my ultamite best friend... it was 11:30 pm on july 17, 2001. i felt really bored, as usual. this whole summer i have done absolutely nothin but stay home, and the boredom took me to a crazed feeling of depression. i didn't tell my friends how i was feeling, which was a really big mistake. i should've told them when i started feeling like this. but tonight wasn't any different. i was watching tv, when all of a sudden this weird feeling came over me. i decided i wanted to experiment with death. i took a knife, from in the kithcen, and slit my wrist five times with it. it didn't hurt, and to tell you the truth i actually thought of it as kind of funny. then, it started to bleed, and the cuts were gushing, i didn't think it was so funny anymore. i started crying, and i was shaking like crazy. i was online at the time, and then my best friend (my angel) came on. i told her everything that happened, and how i felt. she was there for me, the only one of my crew that i felt i could really trust, and talk to about it all. she made me feel a lot better, knowing she loves me, and that i can go to her when i need her. i could never ask for a better friend than her, and i never would. thanks jess, for everything! i love you so much, and whenever you need me, i'm always here! and everybody, don't be stupid like me, and try to kill yourself, as it happens you'll realize you're making a really big mistake. thanks for reading this! love, michaela
